Training Environment for SAP Certification (TS410) in Your Teaching

SAP UCC Magdeburg provides access to an SAP S/4HANA system that is also used by other educational institutions (shared system). A total of up to 25 students can access one client simultaneously. For larger courses, multiple clients are necessary. The pre-installed data of the fictitious model company Global Bike enables a vivid demonstration and testing of relevant processes and procedures.

Lecturers have access to teaching materials, ready-to-use presentations, case studies and exercises that can be used both in teaching and in research projects.

The entire curriculum is both available in German and English.

…  explains the different user interfaces and the path towards SAP Fiori in the SAP S/4HANA system. Among other things, the different types of Fiori apps are presented. The first exercises take place to pave the way for further practical work in the other exercises.

Mit den in S/4HANA verfügbaren Fiori-Apps ist es möglich, nahezu intuitiv zu arbeiten, so dass Studierende mit knappen Hilfestellungen in kurzer Zeit weitere Prozessvarianten „durchspielen“ können, womit Prozessmanagement erlebbar gemacht werden kann, und auch anspruchsvollere Planungsverfahren anwenden können, womit der Nutzen eines ERP-Systems greifbarer wird.

Die Hochschule Würzburg-Schweinfurt ist seit 2001 Kunde beim UCC Magdeburg und setzt in sieben Studiengängen SAP-Systeme ein. In dieser Zeit haben wir eine hohe Qualität der Betreuung durch das UCC erfahren. Hervorzuheben  sind dabei nicht nur die Stabilität und die Performance der zur Verfügung gestellten SAP-Systeme, sondern auch die Reaktionsgeschwindigkeit des Supports: falls doch mal Probleme auftreten sollten, werden diese zeitnah und zuverlässig gelöst. Zu schätzen gelernt haben wir auch den Content der SAP-Systeme: insbesondere da SAP keine Trainingsinhalte mehr zur Verfügung stellt, erleichtert die vom UCC entwickelte Modellfirma Global Bike unseren Dozenten die Vorbereitung ihrer Lehrveranstaltungen erheblich bzw. die Durchführung der Lehrveranstaltungen wird dadurch erst ermöglicht.
